Looks like a good schedule. Might fish this next year more than the club, esp. if fuel stays within reason.

Is Hillsdale a good fishery now? I've fished it a few times before without much luck

We had a club T there in the spring of 2006 and had 1 legal fish weighed for the whole clubs efforts. Lots of 12-17.99999999 inch fish, but an 18 inch keeper was tough for us on that day.

    Re: 2007 State Schedule (cgs2004)

Hillsdale is a Bass Pass Lake, we will be allowed to weigh in 2 fish per person, over 15" and along with up to 3 over 18". Paola now has a best western, so rooms are less than 10 minutes from the ramp. I would guess everyone will have their Bass Pass Limit, and 50% or so would have at least 1 fish over 18". We need to support this, since the state approved it for 2007, and its on a trial basis.

In the buddy this means you can have 4 Bass Pass fish and only need 1 over 18" to fill a limit.

    I hope this help!

I just found out today that I got offered an internship in Kansas City so it looks like I will be able to try out Hillsdale more this summer, may even be looking for some small local tournaments

Definitely check out MSTA circuit up at Smithville, $100 for boater and $50 for Non-boater. Both divisions are fishing for a new Stratos at the year end Championship. They use a buddy format, so the boater and co-angler work together for the best 5 fish limit. Makes for a pretty enjoyable day.

Is it a random draw for partners or can you pick?

It is a random draw but you and the co-angler fish as a team for the day. Points count for the both of you indvidually.

    Excellent run tournament.
