Well, Thanks to BRP we had a sales trailer there with a E-Tec in a water tank along with the DVD being played for the members to see.

We thought it would be a 150 E-Tec but we ended up with a 225, had a lot of people interested.

That's one quiet motor.........Herbert and I had a Champion loaner from Jason at Moncks Corner Marine and it had a 225 Etec.......very quiet.

From what I've heard, there's no plans for a E-tec 175 HO. But I'm not the expert here.

Yes, I would LOVE to see that also.

I wonder how it would stack up to my 1991 150 faststrike. Speed wise that is.

If a 175HO E-Tec was an option......and it was compared to your 150 carb motor you would see much less fuel/oil consumption and a better hole shot, mid range and top end with out any breakin.

I was really curious. I've heard that the 91, 150 faststrike was a little faster than most 150s.

Mine seems to surprise alot of people. Your right about the gas, mine is an GAS GUZZLER!!!
