I have 1 of the war eagle ones and don't like it nearly as much as the Diawa TD Buzzmax. Its a little different design, casts a mile and is pretty good at going through the weeds

I like a buzzbait that I can fish slow. I like a triple wing buzzbait for this, but not a plastic one, the tin wings give a louder squeak. I prefer the Strikeking brand, but Bass Pro makes one that had a tin triple blade that works. It has the clevis clacker on it, but I use a wire dyke and cut that clacker off. I also bend the edges of the wing forward more than they already are so that they catch more water so that it can be pulled slower. ALWAYS use a trailer hook too.

Homeade clacker style for me. White, chartreuse, or chartreuse and white, and sometimes black.

I used to use the Strike Kings alot, but my favorite that I have now would be a Cavitron.

I've heard good things about the Cavitron, but have yet to try one.

I have a couple cavitrons and they are pretty nice. You can pull em in SLOWLY and they stay on top. My others are war eagle and harts. I am going to go mostly war eagle because I use their spinnerbaits so it is a brand thing. I used to have just hart sbaits and bbaits but I am going towards war eagle now.
