I'm guessing he has clearing to do at Fort Riley pursuant to his reassignment and is probably tied up in briefings, picking up personnel and medical records, turning in equipment and the like. They used to give us 10-14 working days to get it all done. A smart guy could do it all in about two days. Turning in field gear was the toughest.

The good thing is that when he is done clearing the time is his to do with what he will (fishing) they will pay him to move his boat himself too. The $ I got for towing my boat from FL to Leavenworth was about $1,400 if I recall.
thats crazy....thats one of the many perks of the military but of course you move a lot too

Yep, Brad got like $900 to go from Ft. Riley to Ft. Sill Ok.....Big profit there

no i was at a brief for housing well i am getting like 900 up front to tow the boat to GA which is like 60% but than the other 40% gets taxes 25%
