Took this yesterday in Rush Creek. This is RJ's future Grandpa-in-law's Ranger. Not sure on the model of the boat but it had a 175 Merc. This thing was absolutely screaming with incredible lift. My cheap camera and poor picture taking skills don't do it justice.
That was impressive lift on that boat. She sure got squirrely when she hit a wake though.
Its a 400 series Ranger....That sucker is gettin it!!!

I had no trouble following the 21X BASS boats this weekend. About 71 was as fast as any of them ran loaded for the tournament.

Looks like he's got a series J/P on there too & atleast 18-20" of setback..........that's a good reason to have the lift on that puppy!

461 or 481.........Darrel Brooks boat is a 481v with 175 optimax!
That boat is a 488 with a 175 EFI. It is a 1995. Will run about 68-70 gps. Has a 12" ritehit jackplate. It has been modified but not exactly sure how. It is a screamer and fun as hell to drive. It is a little squirly, but not bad. scared the chit out of me the first time I drove it, but it is cake now. It is a DOGGG out of the hole though.....
Your future G-in law seemed to be pretty nice Randy. He sure wanted to talk about it. He couldnt remember if it was 12 or 10" jp but he did say that this was the first time he had it out since all the new modifications on it. Sounds like he needs to get some prop work done and it might even be more crazy. Sure didnt run much boat in the water though.

RJ I think they must've done some more work to it because the hole shot I saw wasn't bad at all. I was able to pass them out in the rough stuff but it didn't look like they were trying to hard either.
I am not sure of any recent mods. That boat has always ran like that since they got it like 2 years ago.
I have the pics, but no scanner....
Surely the police station has a scanner.
