I didn't realize the NHL ever started up again after their year-long break.

1st official game was Sept 26/27th last fall (I think)

After 1 year off PRO's were going broke & needed $$ & the minor leagues couldn;t pay em enough to support there RICh lifestyles so they HAD to get back to work somehow

Bad thing about it was ESPN had a bid in for Season broadcast & withdrew bid & let OLN get the whole thing for next 2 years

Stanley cup playoffs is the only games I have been able to watch this season.

root for em if you will but with 3/4 key guys off.....Dallas has the edge......esp with a 3-1-0 record from season with them........Stars will probably shut them down next game.
