Threw our arms off with the rig, had 13 keepers, over 20 fish. Best five about 18 lbs. one 5 lb largemouth and personal best smallie 5.5 lb.

Glad you caught them. I caught 5 total with three of them being keepers. I launched out of Big Bear and fished the North end. Never seen so many boats in January that were bass fishing. And every boat I saw was throwing the a rig. I didnt see anyone around me that was bass fishing catch one. I did see a crappie fisherman catch a bass on a spinning reel.

Lot of boats for January, it was a nice day. There was a tournament going out of KY Dam Marina. Lots of fish caught......and good ones! It took 28 pounds to win. I think second place was 25 pounds, third place 24+. We skipped the tournament, but had one of our best fishing days ever on KY Lake.

I went out in at Kenlake yesterday and the parking lot was full. Caught some too.
