Stormed the court in Memorial Colleseum in 1975 and jumped on Joe Hall's back. That was the day they served oranges on campus. The Vols were led onto the court by Stu Aberdeen and some midgets on unicycles, the first year of the Ernie and Bernie show. It was hilarious as the oranges rained down.

I tried making it onto the court at Madison Square Garden in '76 after the NIT win. They had very good security, and we never got close.

I'm glad the Hoosiers enjoyed their win. It should be fun and exciting, as long as you don't hurt anyone.

<table width="90%" cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 align=center><tr><td>Quote, originally posted by TR21Bassin &raquo;</td></tr><tr><td class="quote">The thing that bugs me the most is the articles, postings and chat forums of the way the IU fans acted in Bloomington towards Cats fans. There are numerous stories of people being spit on, cars keyed, cars painted, threats, beers poured on people and many others. This is just plain ridiculous. Myself and friends have been to numerous UK games at many places and have never been treated the way these people are saying they were treated in Bloomington. There is always some good ribbing going on but never physical threats and this type of crap. Even at football games you'll have the other teams fans walk through and there will be some ribbing but usually ends with a hand shake, a beer and a good luck.

If this is the way IU wants to celebrate then so be it but I say UK drops them from the schedule. The fans don't realize that players could get hurt when the storming of the court happens. Celebrate in the stands or outside later but stay off the court. </td></tr></table>

I've been going to games all over the place since the late 60's. No individual school has a corner on idiots. I've seen ill treatment of visiting fans everywhere, including Louisville, Lexington and even Vandy of all places.

Of all things, Vandy fans rode this poor little guard from Alaska Anchorage all night. The boy had a hair lip (not a mustache), and thats all you heard everytime he touched the ball. They were all over the AA fans too about their player and whether or not they were all inbred.

Well, there ya go. I said I didn't remember it. That was 10 years before I was born.

I don't care who does it. I still think storming the court, field or anything else like that is just stupid. To me, its just like touchdown dances in football or admiring a home run in baseball. ACT LIKE YOU'VE DONE IT BEFORE. It shows a lot more class.

I'm supposed to be the grouchy old man, not you. College kids are supposed to have fun. They can worry about class (not classes) soon enough.

    Re: 9-0 Baby!! (Chief Paduke)

Dancard said it better than I could about storming the court. And I would say it if UK fans ever do it....DON'T ACT STUPID and SHOW SOME CLASS!

And I expect Hoosiers, UK and UL fans to know basketball better than anyone.....the better team does not always win.....How boring the game (any sport) would be if that were true!

So let's be honest and say IU had a great game and UK did not play very well on that day.

So I was 2 and 3 years old when this happened. Don't remember it at all.

Well, I'm like Travis, just happy.. Don't condone all the bad stuff reported, never have, never will. Glad to have UofL, KY and IU with good seasons. After all, we live next to each other. Sounds like some of you gys don't remember what it was like to be young though. I'm still happy and will just keep on hollerin for my teams.

By the way, good luck to all of you fishing this year!!
