Bought a used Parker 2120 w/ a Yammy 150 HPDI. Installed a Navman 3100. We're showing somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 mpg. The strange thing is, unlike my other boats which get the best mpg as soon as she flattens on plane, this rig is showing better mpg the faster we go, all the way up to 5,000 rpm. Could this be right?
Yamaha doesnt have a performance bulletin on the HPDI 150 posted that I could find, but they do on the HPDI 175 and the carbed 150, both show best fuel mileage between 3500-4500 RPMs. The HPDI 175 actually shows as high as just over 6mpg. Here's a link to them.

I just realized what kind of boat you had, its not a bass boat. Acutally Yamaha does have a perfomance bulletin on a 21' Parker with a 150 HPDI.
