Never heard of it, where in Henderson is it located? My son lives there and hasn't mentioned it before.

Yeah, Beshears is a good lake. A lot of big bass in that lake. I've seen them that other people have caught, I've only managed one about 41/2 lb.

Audubon state park. senic lake - it said pennyrile lake on iphone. May have read it wrong. Friend said they had concrete canoe races this weekend there. He was there to watch his little brother compete and the big 10 network used his bassboat as a camera boat. He said it look like a good lake to fish.I live right across the bridge from it and have never been.
Only problem is it, up to last year has a boat/motor size limit. 18 ft. and no larger than 150 hp. They where talking about changing that but don't know if they have yet.
I have fished Audobon Lake in my boat (21'10" Bullet). It is a troller only lake and is good in the Spring and Fall. It can be a little tough this time of year but you can still catch some fish.
Just looking something other than bluegrass for a quick morning fun fishing. I have just not had much luck at old stripper pits. I would much racher fish a pond or lake. Hope they have some quality fish there.
Thanks
Quality is there. I have seen some BIGGUNS on beds there in the Spring.
