Wednesday - June 22nd - COX PARK - $20 winner take all
6:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Sunset is at 9:10 p.m. so we'll go to 9:15 p.m.

Cox Park - meet in parking lot around 5:30 - 5:45 p.m., takeoff at 6:00 p.m.

$20 per boat, winner take all
5 fish limit per boat - 12" on all bass
1 lb. deduction for each dead fish
ties determined by largest bass

Previous winner shall hold onto the entry fees during the tournament - holding the money is a proven curse (until team Joe Skeeter recently broke it)!

Disqualification for any short fish brought in to be weighed - so make sure it measures at least 12"!

Stay out of Captain's Quarters marina - cast into the mouth of it all you want, but don't let your boat go past the "no fishing" sign...it's off limits. The rest of the river is fair game.

This is a casual event with an emphasis on fun. It's open to anyone, so tell your friends. It's very informal. It's not sanctioned, no memberships, or anything like that. It's officially non-official.

If you plan on fishing it, please post below so we know to look for you.

If you wish to launch at Duffy's, that's okay too, just come on over to Cox before 6:00 to put your money in the pot.

Guys, keep an eye on this thread - as of right now there is a chance of storms on that Wednesday, but the forecast changes all the time. If it's looking like a no-go, we'll make the call around noon on Wed. - is that cool with you guys?

Cool with me. I will be there again this time, and hopefully will fish it this time. But then again, I like catching fish. I know if I fish this thing, I wont catch any!!

I think it would be quicker for me to stop and pay my fee and drive up river and launch from there, fish, load back up and meet you at the Coxs for the weigh-in. Would that work? Haha.

I'm new to this site, I was referred by artcarney from another forum. Just a little about me, I'm a 21 year old junior studying Electrical Engineering at UofL. I would like to fish a tournament with you all sometime, but do not have my own boat. If anyone needs a fishing partner I would be glad to come along.

I've thought about it, but I didnt know who to talk to about it as I know no one on the team. Tough to afford a boat and pay for school...

Well, I am on the fishing team, artcarney was formerly on the team, and roughthumbbg is currently the president of the team. We have meetings on campus once a month on a week night.

There is no need to own your own boat. Several guys on the team dont have a boat but enough of us do have boats to supply a boat for the co-anglers. The flw tournament trail provides boats for the fisherman. It is a situation that you just cannot beat. We have several sponsors for the team that helps pay for our travelling expenses.

Brian, you can go with me. I was also on the UofL fishing team and would love to have you along. I graduated 2 years ago from Speed. I can just meet you at the ramp. Let me know what you think.
