Anyone know of a used motor for my buddys 92 ranger he blew a rod right thru the side of the block and they want $6500 to rebuild it since he has no core its pretty expensive..Just wondering if anyone knows of any...thanks chris nj

check with hydrotec marine in nixa mo. my power head was less than 4000 and thats with mods done to it. the core charge is something like 450 . or log on to scream and fly and look up ray neudecker in jackson tn. he may beat hydrotecs price.
I have a 1989 Yamaha 150 Pro Vee with the two bottom cylinders down the block should be good it was running when I shut it off if you know anybody interested.
hey pickwick basser how much you want for the motor and is it a complete motor or just the power head
It can be a complete motor. I have been running the lower unit on my new motor every once in a while. It has the higher gears and and a chopper prop and it will fly. But I like my newer one with the Trophy alot better, easier to drive. The plastic that the cowl fits down on is cracked but everything else is there. I will sell just the powerhead cheap or the complete engine. Call me at 731-607-9708, I really don't know how much to ask right now I need to get it out of my yard.
