Norris Lake info ...well it is close to Kentucky so thought you might be able to help.

My 29th wedding anniversary trip to Erie got cancelled due to the weather forecast and I have Talked the wife into trying a floating home on Norris (flathollow marina).

Would appreciate any advice for both fishing and the local area, including Flat Hollow, I am not looking for your favorite spots but more general info to help me eliminate bad water.... will be there next Monday thru Wednesday (18-20th)

should be a pretty good time to be down there,, and that place is a nice place to stay ,, been a while but ive been by there every year, Me personally never done that great there other then a cpl 5-6 lbers,,Ive went with a few guys that frequent the lake and they always seem to be on the fish.But all in all its a cool lake to go try out ,I dunno how the weather will be or what the crowd will be like but the lake gets some heavy boat traffic on it so we mainly fished back in bigger arms and a few main points early in the morning before the crowd woke up,.Even jig fished thru a few party coves and brought in some fish last june,scenery was great Then check out the tn guys ,surely someone leaves on or near that lake on here

Thanks for the info .... weather is suppose to be sunny and mid 70's to 80's ... just fishing for fun so anything over 12" is good with me (yeah yeah I know "that is what she said").. I will post after to let you know if I have any luck.

First full day and all small buck bass except a nice 3lb. smallie that hit a crank bait in 15 ft. hope I figure them out tmr.

Well I am going home in the morning and the trip was a succes thanks to all the great advice from my fellow BBCers! Could not find them this morning but this afternoon I ventured into Long Hollow and found it full of baitfish all the way in the back and slayed them. Mostly bucks but did manage four nice females full of eggs.

Next stop Kentucky Lake Rally. This trip was a great primer
