Are you kidding me? When I left the house this morning they were calling for 1-2" of wet snow mainly in the grassy areas. It' just after 2:00 and we have 6" and counting. There are multiple accidents and several school buses stranded.

it has snowed here since about 9am but the ground is too warm for it to stick.
They missed it on this one didn't they?!?!
My brother-in-law just totaled his truck on the way home from Lone Oak, on 45. It was snowing heavily with limited visibility, he came up on a guy stopped in the road who had no lights on, no turn signal, nothing...by the time he saw him he couldn't stop and WHAM! While waiting for assistance, a snow plow went off the road right by him.
I believe they were calling for a "dusting" so pre-treatment was minimal....
Some buses are in the ditches last I heard.
Yea it's crazy here in Dickson, TN too. calling for 1 to 2 inches and we are getting it pretty good now and just about got that now with it still coming down hard. Just north on me 33 miles in Clarksville they say they got over 3 inches already and kids stranded in school

Just started here in Glasgow about 2:15. There might be 1" in the grassy areas, very small dusting on the road
We ended up with about 8 here at my house. I live on the Marshall/McCracken line on 62. I teach at the the high school in Marshall, and we made it about 15 minutes into 1st block before they announced it. I had a hard time getting home at 9:00. I-24 was completely covered, and that was just the start of it. Oh well, I guess I will head to the liquor store, no work tomorrow.
it got to Lexington about 11 am or so, it had already rained hard all morning it snowed for a while then stopped then snowed harder around 5 til later in the evening but we got 2-3 inches and skool is in session in Fayette today.
