Is a 2000 70 hp two stroke Johnson a strong, reliable?

Looking at a few boats with Johnson outboards. One is a 115 and the other is a 70. I am most likely going to buy one with the 70hp and it is a year 2000. I am not familiar with Johnson as I only owned two small Merc's in the past. Are the Johnson two strokes (mettallic gray color) in these hp (70 and 115) stong, reliable engines. I am not concerned with high speed performance with these just reliablility.

If maintained correctly they are very reliable motors.

I'll take the 4 cyl 115 over the 3cyl 70 any day and pay the difference or if the 115 is older I will still take it!!!! JMHO!!!! Disclaimer!!!! This is depending if ya do yer homework and check em both out !!!
