Sounds about right for how things have been looking the past few years over there... I was at A2O today and they aren't planning on taking any fishing lures due to how sales have been over there for fishing equipment in general... The Indy show is still good though, or at least it is compared to the Louisville show.

Yep, we will be there also, hope we don't have a snow out like they had last year![]()
Also the Nashville Fishing Extravaganza will be going on 1/29-1/30 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Charmer Baits and Slongs Fishing Lures will be at this one along with a bunch of other tackle dealers and boat dealers. Also several seminars by Joe Thomas, Gerald Swindle, Woo Daves, Bill Lowen and others.

I suppose people go to boat shows for different reasons. I went to the Louisville boat show for a good 10 years or more in a row. I never had intentions of buying a new boat . I went to look at the new modles, buy some tackle and have a social gathering with some friends. Around 07 or 08 the show went down hill in my opinion. The last time I was there in 09 I actually had more tackle in my boat than what was on display at the show.I looked at the line up of vendors for this year and I did not see enough to warrant the gate price plus parking.
Years ago about every major boat manufacture had a dealer there with boats on display. There was two large tackle vendors with several small mom and pop vendors. If it returns back to what it was I may go back. Until then I have no interest in seeing all the motor homes, baja's,houseboats and all the as seen on TV products LOL
Free parking and very reasonable admission at the fairgrounds show also![]()
