I hear they are all a bunch of A-holes, except the guy with the Sprint - I heard he was pretty cool! Sorry I missed the meeting.

Actually, It really is a great group of guys in that club. It is somewhat competitive - but never past the point of being fun or being considered a chore. Every guy in that club would give you the shirt off their back if you needed. It is a little more laid back than most other clubs - so if you are into making money and are super competitive (winning is more important than anything) than this probably isn't the club for you. But if your main goal is to have fun with fishing and enjoy it - you may be a good fit. I'm not saying no one cares about winning - they do, and they do compete with each other - but they all value the importance of relaxing and enjoying time on the water more than that. I have enjoyed fishing with these guys, and made some great friends. Even if they are all older than dirt - they are still good people!!

Do they fish on Saturdays or Sundays? Is there a website that you know of?

No website. All tournaments are one day tournaments and are scheduled for Saturdays. However, you usually have the option of fishing on a sunday, if you can't make the saturday. We are pretty flexible, and want to give everyone the opportunity to fish as many tournaments as possible. There are several in the club that work on some Saturdays, and some that wish to fish larger tournaments on Saturdays (BFL, Bass). There are a few tournaments that are saturday only (a couple of river tournaments, and a day at Lake Beshear). But most you have the option of doing either or. That is assuming the same rules are used this year - but they have been that way for a while.

No, Beshear is a 150 HP max. I have seen larger motors on there, but I personally would not chance it, I have seen quite a few tickets given out there as well. But it is one of my favorite lakes. I love fishing that lake.

Really. Not one of my favorites. I grew up not far from there. I know there is big fish in that lake but i never learned how to catch em.

Yeah thats why I was asking.

Are you all's tournaments Open? Id love to fish a few but with school and other club meetings It'd be tough to be a part.

And I work during the meetings you all will have...
