    Carp??? in Ky lake

I was out this weekend and come across schools of these 3ft. fish that looked like some kind of carp. They were swimming around in schools near the surface, and if spooked or just every so often they would splash/jump. Just wondering what these were, I've never seem them before(atleast not schooled up like this).

Carp are everywhere. Used to see them schooled up in a lot of reservoirs in Indiana, but it usually was either in the spring or during the dog days of summer.

Is that the ones that are jumping into boats/people up north?

Yes, but not just up north anymore. They are pretty much everywhere.

I say TWRA makes a hunting season on them, and allow shotguns and .22's to shoot the piss out of them, or dynamite....
