Wednesday - September 1st - COX PARK - 6:00 to 9:00 - $20 winner take all

6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

$20 per boat, winner take all; ties determined by largest bass

Louisville's Cox Park - meet in parking lot around 5:30 - 5:45, takeoff at 6:00

1 lb. deduction for each dead fish

5 fish limit per boat - 12" on all bass

Previous winner shall hold onto the entry fees during the tournament - holding the money is a proven curse!

Disqualification for any short fish brought in to be weighed - so make sure it measures at least 12"!

Stay out of Captain's Quarters marina - fish the mouth all you want, but don't go past the sign...it's off limits.

A casual event, open to anyone. Very informal, and fun. It's not sanctioned, no memberships, or anything like that. It's officially non-official.

If you plan on fishing it, please post below so we know to look for you.

If you wish to launch at Duffy's, that's okay too, just come on over to Cox before 6:00 to put your money in the pot.

The days are definitely getting shorter, and pretty dang fast too! Just looked at the sunrise/sunset table for Sept.

Civil Twilight for Sept. 1st is 8:40, so we may need to cut it back to 8:45? We'll discuss this before we take off.

It's been the dead sea all summer. I never caught a limit over 10 lbs this year. Best bag I had this year was a little over 9 which was good enough for a USA Bassin' win. That was during postspawn......since then I've been lucky to score 5 lbs. if even that.

Definitely not like last year when I saw a few bags pushing 15 lbs. - muddy water for the majority of the spring and early summer pretty well hurt the most. Very little grass and no consistency this year. Hoping next year it will be better.
