ok thanks i was just wondering. My boat only has a 40 on it and it runs bout 30 so i was just wondering if it would be faster to drive in the truck up there pr just ride in the boat. I will be staying around south ramp over spring break.
Like Zach said just drive to painters and launch there. Out in front of painters creek is the roughest stretch of the whole lake and if its windy (like it always is this time of year) and you have a small boat I wouldn't want to be out in that area.
