We need boaters for BFL..........

Ya, no kiddin.......I'm almost tempted to sign up as a boater.....Well, my boater had only been on ky lake twice, counting the tourney, but we caught fish, just no stinkin keepers!!! How'd you guys do?

I don't get that. I'm by no means knocking the guy, but why sign up for such a huge TX knowing that locals are out there almost daily and put $200 in the pot with not much experience to go on? Seems like you are wasting your $$?

Oh I know....thats what I was kinda thinkin! At least he was nice and didnt front end me on my first BFL tourney..... He mostly fished my spots though...

The guy I drew last week in the weekend series hadn't been on the lake since last August. Didn't even practice, just rolled in friday night. He did have two spots that he had located fish on last August. It was a long day.

thats why i decided to fish as a boater this year if im going to stink the lake up at least its all on me. all the guys i fished with last year where all good people but some showed up the night before of the tx. no way am i a heavy stick but im learning. and im there 7 to 8 days before the tx trying to make something happen.

Hey guys easy on us boaters just showing up the night before the tourney. I didn't get to pre-fish for the fist weekend series either however I was on fish for 2 weeks prior. I was around fish all day and did get a 4 1/2 in the boat for the co angler. I went on past experience of fishing the lake. It did'nt go the way I hoped but that's fishing. I wish I could aford to take all week off and pre-fish for a Saturday tourney but I can't and I'm ok with it. I'll have my days when I'll bring the sack to the scales. Either way that's why I fish the so called Weekend series for the weekend angler. IF I deicided to take a whole week off to prefish everytime for a one day tourney I guess I would just up the anty and go fish one of the BASS opens.

Swerve and protect when is the next BFL on LBL? If I don't have my son for that week I'll sign up and link with you if you need a boater link

Oh I know.....you're right.....its about having fun and learning new stuff....the next one is April 17, witch I have a boater for already, BUT my buddy needs one BAD.....let me know!!!
