Citrus Stick/Blue Water on Dec. 26th.

If you are in or around Louisville and would like to check out Citrus Stick and the baits that BCS Customs offers then here is a chance. On December 26th 2009 from 1pm to 3 or 4pm. I will be at Mike Daleo shop (Blue Water LED's). With rods and baits. This will not only be a chance to check out Citrus Stick and the baits that BCS Customs offer but also to check out Mike's shop and to get a first hand look at what he does as well. I hope you can come drop by and visit, and see what both of us have to offer.

I would also like to give Mike a huge thanks for allowing me to use his shop for this.

Thanks Ben and i hope to see you there. Also if there is anything in particular that you would like to see let me know and i will try my best to get it for you.

Also if you can make it let me or Mike know. (Ribs are on the line so let us know)

will you be seeing the product for the first time there also? i can't drive 3 hours, what types of guides do they use and what are the other components. what does a typical 7' rod weight and will they/ or do they make a composite rod? also, many rods today have a lifetime warranty no questions asked policy, what are you guys doing to compete with this promotion and last what kind of blanks are they using?
are these rods gonna be at the 2010 classic?

Although your Citrus Stick should give you many years of enjoyment; we understand that things happen. BCS Customs is proud to offer a limited lifetime warranty on the Citrus Stick against manufacturer defects.

If you find that your rod needs service or repair, simply package the rod and return it to the address below with $20 shipping and handling. We will inspect your rod to determine the cause of the breakage and/or service needed. If determined that the damage is a manufacturer defect we will gladly replace the rod at no cost to you (excluding shipping and handling). If the damage is determined to be anything other than manufacturer defect a quote for repair will be provided to you.

We also offer "Putting the Squeeze on em" warranty. This is a no questions asked warranty. Slam the rod in your rod locker, break off the tip getting a snag out, or even run over it with your truck. It doesn't matter; we will replace your rod.
    Here's how it works:
Simply give us a call or fill out the warranty claim in the BCS Customs Store. We will charge your credit card $50 for the rod + $20 shipping and handling.
We will send you the same model rod in a return postage pre-paid tube.
Once you receive your new rod, put the damaged rod in the same packaging and ship it back to us within 30 days to avoid being charged the full amount of the cost of the rod.

If it is a manufacturer defect then it is covered for the lifetime of the rod.

If it is the no questions asked policy then it doesn't matter what you do to the rod. Unfortunately, we are not able to just replace the rod if it is not a craftsmanship problem. We are a small company doing business in the USA. We did not go cheap on things such as guides; we have probably as much in the components as most do for the whole rod. Alot of the manufacturers that have those types of policies are building their rods so cheaply ($ wise not bashing) that it makes more sense to have an over the counter warranty because the shipping charges are probably more expensive than the rods themselves.

I am not a prostaffer, nor do I have a Citrus Stick so I am unbiased here. I must say that an unconditional replacement for you if YOU break the rod carelessly for only $50 plus shipping sounds very fair to me. I am looking forward to see some comments from folks after the 26th..
