Notary Public on Sunday 12-13-09 in Louisville

I'm trying to sell a car here in louisville and the buyer can only come on sunday to pick it up. We need to get the title notarized and i can't find anywhere to do it.
I called the us bank in my kroger and another location, they are open but the notary won't be there on sunday.

    Any suggestions?

Call the court clerk's office and see what they recommend. You should be able to just sign it and have him take care of the rest. Just make a copy of it for your records.

i check with them thanks man.

The car is wrecked and im not sure how he is going to title it. he only wants it for parts so im going to suggest i retire the title and then he doesn't have to even mess with it.

    your right Scott

Back on the topic at hand, if you want to get your half notarized then sell it to the guy on Sunday then he signs his half in front of a seperate notary and then the courthouse on his own time.

Just make sure you get $$ before he takes posession of the vehicle and your all good.

yeah i called the clerks office and they said that i could go ahead and sign it and get it notarized without him present, then just give it to him to sign and take to the court house.
