This is where I stay at when I go down there.

    http://www.belairmotel.com/

It's clean, cheap and the family that owns it is super friendly.
Wish I was there now actually.

There is also the KenBar Lodge. I think it is $35 or $40 too - check their website.

Bel Air is by far the best of those three.

Might want to check with the KY State Park - sometimes their winter rates are pretty dang cheap, especially if you can catch one on special. At that time of year, they're usually hurtin'

They also have trailers in the back with a little living room and kitchen that are real nice, they are a little more than the regular rooms. I also love going to the Catfish Kitchen when I go down there. Although, a friend said that there are better restaurants around there that I'm going to try the next time I'm down there.
That whole area is God's Country

Try the Barkley Dam motel, it's between the two rivers, about 40.00 a nite, clean and run for fishermen by a very nice couple, 270-362-4263 or 1-800-863-9009.
    I smile because I don't know
what the hell is going on!!
