    That's pretty cool....those helmets won't help much doing a 100mph.

He ran the 180 miles of Ky lake in less than 2 hours. Lets see him do that on a Saturday afternoon.

Yep, he could run a 100 mph most of the day on Ky Lake that day for sure.

That's pretty cool! I wonder if he held a hotfoot down for that long? That's pretty good fuel mileage for that big motor too.

No kidding! Let's see him do it in March. That'd REALLY be something to talk about.

He could do it in march or on saturday in that bullet as well as any other boat on the market and better than most.

    Re: Paul Nichols.... (mikes733)

Paul was going to start at Ky Lake end anyway...but I told him that was VERY WISE because hitting it in the afternoon could have been a deal breaker IN ANY BASS BOAT!!!!!!!! Hard to believe he averaged around 58 MPH for the entire trip and that included sitting dead still in 9 locks and re-fueling twice!!!! He was right on a 91-92 MPH average for the entire length of Ky Lake...I believe it was 184 miles and just a pinch over 2 hours. He said the sportmaster lower unit was TOAST!!!!!!!! The prop hub had issues and it allowed the prop to eat into the housing!!!
