    Coming to Kentucky lake

I am getting a trip with a couple of buddies to KY lake in mid/late september. Need some recommendations on a place to stay and possibly a guide. Coming from STL so closer to the NW end would save us some drive time. We will be looking to catch all species of bass. This time of the year good on KY lake? Thanks

My opinion is that mid to late September is pretty tough unless we get some cooler weather to lower the lake temps. If that happens, then you can expect a whole bunch of schooling fish in the bays. Maybe Dave or one of the other knowledgeable fisherman will stop in this thread to give you some advice.

I still have some dates available in that timeframe if you decide you would like to book a trip with me. If you give me a call at 270-354-5039 I can answer your questions on your timing vs other times this fall....don't have to book with me to call...just offering some advice.

Dave Stewart!!! Great guy, super guide!!!

I hear Moor's is a good place to stay, but since we live on the lake, can't personally say. We like to stay in our home
