ohio ppl where to stay at PUT-IN-BAY

okay the other half since shes from ohio wants to go up to putin bay for 4th o july so im thinking about pulling the boat up there and fishing while im there,Anyway anyone know any good cabin rentals on bass island i think it is,ive searched but keep coming uo with condo things or shitty looking ran down cabins,so if you know of any honey holes with a spot for a boat and extension cord lemme know

I've stayed here once and it's really nice. Clean rooms and a big pool with a swim up bar and a huge hot tub. Here's a link, hope it works!

thnks yea one other person recommended that or a i guess thers a koa campground that has park model trailers but i think they wanted like 400 bux a weekend since its a holiday and dunno bout that ,hell the swim up bar would mean i prob wouldnt do much fishing,

I don't know if your the party type but if you are...HOLD ON!!! That's what PIB is all about. There's a little sight seeing to be done but you can do that in a half a day. As far as fishing. If you stay at the KOA you could take Millers Ferry over and trailer your boat and truck and keep it at the campground. If don't want to do that you could take a pole and fish from shore. You'll catch smallies-LMB's-sheephead etc.

well i was planning on taking the boat up there if its worth the trip and its easy enough to launch and all that,i figured if i i didnt take it id get there and kick myself in the ass for not bringing it,and yeah ive been known to throw downa lil so thats what im heading for im def interested in this countrys longest bar or whatever it is up there somewhere

I grew up going to PIB..... First place I every saw boobs where I was old enough to appreciate them!!! Might have been 12 years

good times,ive never been i always went south for vacation type things mainly panama ,destin,daytona, so yeah my expectations are high if not at least i can go and whack some erie lake smallies ive heard so much about or well try to anyway

I would suggest Bayshore Estates. There isn't much on the Islands for us common folk who bass fish. It's in Sandusky and not far from launching out of Cranberry or the Bay. Maybe 20 minutes either way.
