    That's some current!

TVA's website is predicting that they'll be pulling 275,000 cfs on Wednesday while dropping the lake 2 feet over 2 days to 360.1. You'll need about a 150# thrust trolling motor to be able to stay on the main lake ledges.

Any of you guys ever been on the lake when they're pulling that much current? I bet it has the marker buoys bowed over.

Can you say Small jaws on the main lake points. If we got a strong north wind right now the waves at the bridge would be unbelievable.
I'm glad it's getting pulled. Even though some 361 water would have been fun for the rally. I really didn't want to have to move my trailer. That things like moving a house.

Great minds think alike. Or in my case, a somewhat pickled mind.

My trolling motor is gonna get a work out tomorrow and next few days it looks like...I remember around 300,000 once I had to stay on the trolling motor to hold position on the west side...and Roddy don't even mention N. winds right now...had enough S. wind two weeks ago to last me the season not to mention feeling like Sponge Bob the past week...

Thing is we are suppose to get more rain and so is the rest of the Tn River Chain along with the Cumberland river Area ! So it might be 361 or so for a week or so

I don't think I've ever been on the lake when they were pulling that much water. Only time I've been there that the Tennessee has had that much water coming in, the Ohio had a bunch too and they were holding it back.

Hopefully that means everything will have time to stabilize by the time we get down there next week for the rally.

    Roddy,

    Look at the prediction:

    5/6 361.1
    5/7 360.1
    5/8 359.6
