    Taylorsville

Fished from noon till about 5pm, found a few... Valleri called one up with her pointer, we had one spot that showed potential, she's getting good maybe better than Alliston with a baitcaster.

left it on the bank... wind was real bad and didn't want to chance busting up some fiberglass for a deer skull, was a good looking rack probably 4" brows and its spread about 18". Probably a bow or quota kill someone didn't find.

No carcass in sight... skull was already bleach white.

Nice fish Jeff & Val I talked to several that fished T-ville Sunday and did OK. BTW, Matt and baitcaster don't belong in the same sentance although he is gettin a little better at them. I can't wait for those T-ville fish to move out in the trees.

I am just poking fun at him, he is definitely getting better with one. Its more of a compliment to her as she is new to bass fishing and is surely picking it up quickly. Although, she still can't grasp the early morning bite importance. lol

I am anxious for you to teach me this standing timber technique... i hate it when the fish get in them I can use a lesson or 10.

I'll have you guys know that I fished for the past 9 days straight and used a baitcaster about 90% of the time!!!! Hell, I even started liking it a bit!

    BTW....nice fish Jeff and Val!

    Re: Taylorsville 4/12 (Alliston64)

Off work today so I fished this morning as the rain and front moved through... my spot from last weekend was blowed out with the wind so I went up the river a little and got on a few... best three went about 9lb caught 2 on a jerkbait and one on a swimbait. Missed several that just slapped at it.

Jeff I went over Sat and caught a 14 incher at the skull and a 3-3.5 pounder across from it with jig, only 2 fish of the day.
