there starting do def bite good on jerkbaits,jigs and cranks...really whatever you feel like throwing,up shallow also

I would stay away from that lower end unless you plan on throwing a fly. Not much going on down there yet. Water is still in 40's down there.

Mid lake up has been productive for most I've talked to. Not many reporting catching fish south of First Island. I fished Sat. and Sunday with not a whole lot of luck but never made it into the Obey or Wolf...Maybe i should have though. Most of the better #'s have been coming from the Wolf and Obey where the warmer water is. Baits being used like mentioned have been jerkbaits, swimbaits, grubs, and jigs. Heard a few reports using cranks and spinnerbaits. I caught 1 on a jerkbait and 1 on a jig this weekend and my girlfriend caught 1 on a shiner. Not sure if this post front messed me up or I just sucked??!!!!!

Did catch a good one on a jig though...
