KY lake April 1st

Coming down to fish with Dave S on April 1 shouldn't have any problems with bass after that. Any help on Crappie? Where to fish ect. Several people in our group want ot catch Crappie. Thanks for any help.

They'll be there, but weather is the key factor on what they'll be doing and where they are. Some years they are on the beds, some years still on the channel edges, and some years it seems like they all left town. I'll be there through the 2nd.

Most all of them have something going on. Where are you staying/launching? IIRC, Dave MAY have guided for crappie in the past, so he might be a source of info.

We will be staying at Shawneebay. Only place that had availability. Will be their from 30th through april 5th. WHere will you be. Bass or crappie fishing. We will mostly be bass fishing but couple hours a day of crappie.

I'll be crappie fishing if they are on, bass fishing if the crappie aren't hitting or we limit on them.

Icebound, before anybody heads out from Shawnee, make sure you look at the map and see the shallow flat that blocks access across the lake. There are still stumps there, and at winter pool they aren't very deep.

You are between Bear and Jonathan, and right across the lake from some good bays on the LBL side.
