I would definitely buy a Pro Team 170 before buying that one!![]()
If I were going to spend that money I would go older used and bigger. Sure that size will be fine, but you'll eventually get the bug to want bigger. Just ask Matt. It'll work great if you're a fair weather angler but if more like every weekend and fish some T's I'd find something 18-20' that's a few years old and in great shape before buying one of these. Unless you have got a great deal. You'll lose money if you plan to sell in a few years as well, you'll have a much better ride in a glass boat. Just a thought. It's a buyers market right now. I'd get the stratos over a tracker though. IF the price difference isn't much different. If it is then get the tracker. Those will sell like hotcakes.
Just a thought just buy something used in great shape. It'll last you're needs longer AND you won't take the first hit of re-sale. Buy for 10,000 and sell for 7-8,000 in 4 years ish OR spend 13,000 and sell for 7,000 in the same time frame.![]()

I'm sure it's out of my price range![]()
I have found a couple a '06 275 with a 150 Yam VMAX for $13,900 and a '05 285 with a 150 Yam 4 stroke for $14,700......we'll see![]()
Eric, do you just want a tin rig? In that price range, I would be going after a 5-8 year old 19 foot fiberglass boat.
No, not just looking for a tin rig. I was mostly looking for something brand new but I think I am steering away from that idea and looking for '04 - '06
We got a super nice 278 Bee Line with a 115 opti check it out http://www.winnersmarinesales.com

Yeah, with that kind of price range I agree, there are a lot of great deals out there. Not necessarily just boats that have been abused. I've seen some great boats that have been babied fall to this bad economy. But their loss is your gain. Shop around. Should be able to find a great rig in that price range.

I have been looking around in that price range as well, and there are definitely some great deals out there on glass rigs 19'-20' w/ 200-225HP.
Obviuosly I ewouldn't say anything bad about these boats because I sell them new. But, I have sold about 20 of them since 2007 and eveyone of my customers just rave on and on about them. They love the ride, how they fish and the storage. We have already sold one of our 2009's with a 50 horse and we have two 2008's with 70's left that I will sell for $14,800. I will have at least one of each at the Lexington Sport, Boat and RV show next week (unless I sell them first!).![]()
