my buddy and i will be on KY Lake dec 5-10 would anyone in the area be interested in fishing a fun little money tournament if i handle everything? My guys that are very good there said thats a good time of the year for power fishin so some of us are heading down from columbus ohio. well make it 100% payback with a big bass. i know you local guys don't winterize your boats down in those parts.

Yah i donno exactly where he caught his three 5pluses but i know he was in kenlake alot in the tourn and i only say that cause we were too and didn't have the same luck, i try to respect guys by not grillin them ,plus hes a hell of a fishermen and i don't want him to give up his spots no what i mean. we'll give it a shot i just hope the weather changes a bit for us goin down there, im not lookin forward to fishing 46 47 degree water temp. i have to take my boat to stratos in nash, and i hear old hickory has 54-57 degree water temp. i also hear the bass bite is pretty good there now. what do you think, worth it for us to fish tuesday before we leave the 9
Not sure if you are asking about fishing Old Hickory or Ky Lake from your post. Just kidding about asking Jamie where he caught his fish...besides...that was 3 weeks ago...things have changed since then. If you are asking if it would be better to fish Ky Lake vs Old Hickory....in my opinion there is no choice in that question...Ky Lake hands down. Not sure where you are getting your info on Ky Lake water temps..current water temp as we speak at 3:00 a.m. this morning on main lake is 53 degrees....of course if this cool weather continues, you can expect the water temps to be in the high 40's by the time you get here.
wow thats great, even if its upper 40s were used to that in OH and i still think your upper 40s on KY is different than ours up here. I got those numbers from KDNR guess they need to check other resources. hopefully those parts have a little bit of a warm front go through next week, but your right we know KY Lake Barkley, no reason to go somewhere else and blow a day. Youve been a big help i will definately get down there in the summer to book a charter from you to fish some ledges. ill def do the tourn option you have. anyway thanks again and have a good weekend
