Who would be up for a mini rally on November 14, or that week end. That is a Friday, and the full moon is on Thursday the 13th.

John and I went last Saturday and caught 4 on jigs....fished from just after sun up till around 4 PM.
No monsters, but man they where hammering the jig and fighting like they where twice the size.

I'm down though!!! My only problem will be that my boat is going to be in the water at Horse Creek. Can we go outta there? I'm sure Thomas down there will be able to put a lot of us and may give everyone a group rate. They have some real nice and big cabins there.

John...Being that we will be fishing in November, I'd keep those Jelly Worms locked down and pull out the DD22's and burn em through the pockets!!!

Matt, maybe if you get down a couple days before and start your voyage north to say holly creek you might get there by the time we are ready to launch...

It only takes me 16 minutes to get to Holly from Horse DICK!!
If I can take my "tin can" on the river in 3 footers, I'm sure it will handle that ride

Anybody else interested?
Was at one stop in Celina, Tn. today and they said boat traffic has been way down as has the fishing pressure....so they think the fishing could get good early.
This will be mainly for a one day deal, but we can figure it out for those who would like to make it longer.

If we meet @ first island that will be fine. I just won't have any way to tow my boat to holly if that is where we put in. I'm keeping it in the water all winter at Horse. I say we all make a weekend of it!

Kinda what I had figured was the 15 or 16 for all you poor saps that have to work
How many are for trying to make a weekend of it or just keep it one day!
Trying to keep this a inexpensive as possible for everyone as I am sure you are all aware the economy kinda sucks.
But we have one member that his days off are Thurs & Fri. so was kinda hopping we could get a few together on Friday.

What kind of entry fee we want $5 each person or $10 per boat with a side $10 pot for big fish.

Sure John!!! As long as you don't mind the long cold ride to 1st island and back to the far end of the lake!! I've been known to catch a few trash fish myself!!
