    Re: Thursday Mini-Rally (mikedaleo)

Cox's park. I'd say everyone get there around 5ish or a little after. Take off will be at 6pm.

If anyone is planning on going to Hooters before hand, that's ya'll call. I personally won't be able to get out of work that early.

I will be there at 5. I have entry form/waivers for all boaters and co's to sign. Or to save time, go to the link Mike posted a long time ago, copy and paste it and bring it with you.

If anyone can email or fax it ahead of time you can do that. My email is malliston@kycomfort.com and my fax is 493-5757

    Matt

Do I need to bring proof of insurance also?

We just got back from the river and IF they are biting Thursday night like they were tonight it's gonna be interesting.

    Re: Thursday Mini-Rally (Slow Rollin)

Found this post on another fishing site by Worm1:

"We had the best evening in a while last night, out of Cox Park. Caught several smallies with the biggest around 3 lbs. and alot of LM with the biggest at 4.5 lbs., best 5 would have been around 15 lbs. It was kinda strange how calm the river was last night but the bass were active as they could be."

He only gets to fish from the bank at the mini-rally.

    Re: Thursday Mini-Rally (artcarney_agr)

I had a good evening out there last night too. I was burning DD22's right in the middle of the channel and dragging 10" jelly worms on the flats. Tossed a banjo minnow and flying lure around the docks at captains quarters and had an audience watching me fish!!!!! My best 5 was about 16lbs!!!

I have not fish this river in years, so if you have, I will take your word on it. I know you would never lead me in the wrong direction on how to catch a bass on the river. Now with that being said, if it was your partner RiverRat, I would do just what he tells me. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright guys, I'll give you my secret. The smallies were hitting helicopter lures and the LM were hitting banjo minnows, in the main channel in about 40 feet of water.
