FYI, The Pelican closed it doors Sat. evening. Sign on the front door cited slow economy, fuel prices as the reason.
Sad to see another local family owned business close up for whatever reasons. I can remember as a kid having to wait for a table at supper time. Of course that was when they were one of the few options in the area. It was hard to beat breakfast anytime there. Seems like it would still be a good location for a restaurant to go there.
