we didn't catch much for size, but we caught fish like this all day today. i mean ALL day. Blade baits and nothing else. no jerkbait bite whatsoever.

BTW don't laugh at my glasses, these big ears of mine kept pushing the arms of them way up on my head.

we didn't go far from kenlake, and it was cold. the wind hardly blew. but when it did, it made it real cold.

the worst part of the day was having to fish from a triton.

no offense but i know i dont write alot on here but i do read it a couple times a week but i absolutely cannot stand it when people so blade baits. the only thing is that is such a range like saying plastics heck you can have anything from a swim bait to a craw to a top water. will someone please catigorize "blade baits" for me.

ya but to tell you the truth i these are the baits that came to mind.... spinnerbait, silverbuddy, spoon, chatterbait. you know what i mean? i have never really been into the silver buddies so......

WTG Clint..thanks for sharing. Anytime you can go out fishing and put a number of those kind of fish in the boat all day is a good day and to do it in January makes it a special day.

Dace, it was all Mark when we first got there. he couldn't talk me in to throwing a blade, i was throwing jig and jerk bait. when he started kicking my butt. i finally broke down and switched over to the blade. then it was game on. 15'-20' seemed to be the magic number.
