My dad and I fished yesterday and today. Fishing was pretty slow but we did hook up with a few. Yesterday we boated 8 and 7 today. I had several short strikes both days and had trouble keeping them stuck to my jig but I made a good guide We had a good time and enjoyed the weather. Even found some new ground to fish that's not beat to death. Here's a few of the best ones. I think we had about 4 or 5 that were 4lbs or better for the 2 days. All were on a jig in 25-30' except one in 15' and one on the fly.

Nice try! I'm sure I'm not the only person to fish it but it looks pretty much like a mud bank. Very little rocks just grass up shallow. Doesn't look anything like a spot you should fish. I guess they were down there eating crawfish. We had 3 in the boat and another nice one pull off in less than 30 minutes. They were down about 30-40'.

Man your killing me, I have been under a blazer trying to get everything un-hooked and un-bolted to pull the motor. Yep it SUCKS and I'm soar they don't make it easy to pull a motor any more.
