    Dale Hollow 12/18

John N and I fished today. We boated 8 fish and missed several more opportunities. Seems like some of them were really striking short. Anyway, we had a good time. Had 3 over 4lbs and one that was over 21". As always it was a pleasure to share my boat with someone new.

The pic doesn't do this fish justice. It was 4lbs even and fat!

Hey guys - I did my best to keep him from "sore mouthing" every fish in the lake, but as a lot of you know, he is a good man to have on the front of the boat.

I tried the peanut about a dozen casts and just couldn't stay with it. The bite was so slow today that I hated to experiment. We had bites in spurts. I did have one fish bite and spit out my jig 3 times and I never got the hook set.

They were in the 1st 1/4 of the creeks on secondary points or short cuts. Nothing in the back of the creeks except one where the wind was blowing in it. Most bites were about 20-25' deep I'd say with a couple shallower.

That is a good fish but you have to hold them up and out with one hand. That will make the fish be the focal point of the picture. The angler only needs to be seen from the waist up Picture number one is a perfect example.

Not holding the fish out for a picture is a good problem to have
Daniel's got a lot of experience with the picture taking thing
