I keep hearing this is one of the best kept secrets going for Herrington. I have tried it with limited success. Went Sat. (posted in fishing reports) and caught several shorts and some keepers on soft plastics. Still have yet to figure out this crankbait bite. If anyone has some insight, I would greatly appreciate it.

on a serious note I think you will have better luck over there with a 7-10 inch plum worm or a black jig.

Crankin' and slow rollin' a black spinnerbait pays off at night, but my go-to is a grape or black worm T-rigged with a 1/8oz. weight. I've seen several HUGE snakes down there at night
