Well the day started off bad. Friggin boat wouldn't start.We fished around the marina for a while and trolled across the lake to some pockets without anything. finally about 10 we get into a pocket that was blocking that brutal cold a@# wind for a while. caught 3 nice spots around a boat dock. My partner tries the motor and it fires right up. Off we go to the good water up around the state dock. No bites until about 1 and then it was like someone just flipped on a switch. 2nd cast with a trap on a gravel flat I caught a 4 lber, 2 casts later my partner boats a 2.5 lber. It was just nuts from there. We wound up catching about 15 fish in 3 1/2 hours and wound up with 13.75. We had about 4 more that would have gone 2 or 3 pounds each come unbuttoned. We were both pretty happy with that since we basically lost 3 hours. It was kind of strange after I caught that 4 lber (Fire tiger trap) I had 3 that just sort of slapped at it. Swithed to a craw color and they started trying to rip the rod out of my hand. All things considered it didn't turn out to bad.
