    2005 merc 200 optimax crank, no start

    Cranks but won't start. The fuel pump does not prime up when you turn on the key and no alarm is ringing either.

    not being funny, but did you check the kill switch ?

    +3 on kill switch.

    IF kill switch is indeed on.... check:

    -Battery (fully charge, load test, verify PROPER connections)

    -Fuses (verify none of the fuses inside the engine cowling are blown)

    -Cannon Plug connection: Confirm pins are clean, spread MALE pins slightly, recommend, and confirm connector is tied in place (use tie-wraps if necessary).

    -MPR (Main Power Relay) Functioning properly?
