2001 200 EFI oil tank on motor help ASAP

I had a power head to exhust gasget rerplaced last year right at winter storage time so boat never got run just for winterization. I was looking over motor just now and noticed the motor oil tank is dry but did not remove the cap yet. Will this refill when you fire the motor or was it drained to replace gasget and never refilled causing a lack of oil to motor and kaboom

Just removed the oil tank cap and it is 100% full

I have a 3 gallon tank in the boat that is full also.

To fill this tank you must blead the tank also correct if you need to fill the tank by hand??

Please read my response to your IM CAREFULLY.

DO NOT attempt to start the engine until such time as you are 110% certain that PREMIXED FUEL is available to the engine, and that the OIL PUMP has been properly bled.

If you're not 110% confident in your ability to perform this properly, I would STRONGLY recommend that you seek the Hands-On Expertise of a Certified or Master Technician (way cheaper than a powerhead).

I just removed the cap on motor oil tank and it is 100% full so I installed the cap and never turned the motor over. Do I need to bleed the tank now??

That definitely changes things completely (as your original premise that there was a problem has been eliminated).

Once you start the engine, be sure you loosen the cap on the ENGINE mounted oil tank until you note oil beginning to seep from the cap (then IMMEDIATELY snug the cap down and wipe up the spillage).

Do not tighten that cap too much.. They break very easy.. Trust me..
