My friends 200efi has a unique problem. It has three trim switches. One on the bow,one on the shifter and one on the motor. The one on the motor works fine. The other two have the same problem - Going up when it is approx 1/2 way up it cuts on and of til it is about 3/4 up and then stops working. Going down is fine. Any suggestions on what it may be.

Likely a connection problem on the LT. BLUE (or Lt. Blue w/white stripe) wire near the control box, or inside the engine cowling (unless BOTH switches are failing).
