I need your help guys. Lots of people say they support our troops, but that is easy when you don't have to prove it. I appreciate what they do because I have been there and I know many of you have as well. Below is a memo that one of our members sent me. His name is Tim Fowler(First Sgt. Fowler at the bottom of page) and he goes by Fowler's Cobra on the boards. On May 27th, his unit is going to be having a Military Family Members Day at the Lake. This will happen at the Cutright Ramp at Monroe Lake in Southern Indiana.
We would donate 3-4 hours of our time giving boat rides and doing a little fishing with some folks and in return we would get to eat at their picnic and more importantly, we would know that we truly helped support our troops. Some of these family members have not seen their deployed husbands, wives, dads or moms in a long time. This would be an opportunity to take their mind off of all that for a day.
I will be there! IM me or Fowler's Cobra or call his cell# at the bottom of the page. Here is Tim's memo:
