Rally info:
The ramp is down to one lane at the bottom and it is a little bumpy because of low water. No problem to put boats in, but I am thinking that when we come in it could become silly.
We will have everyone meet at the Trooper Island Dock no later than 7:30. I will be there at 7am so come early if you like.
I will begin having you guys sign your waivers so to make it go quickly, please have your info readily available when you arrive.
If you are staying the night before, let's try to get yours out of the way then.
Everyone will need to donate $5 to the plaque fund which will pay for the plaques.
We will do an optional $10 per boat Big Bass Pot. I will collect that when I have you guys sign the waivers.
Get your shiners before hand at Stranges on 61 before the right turn to go toward the state park. We will make sure he has enough for everyone. If some of you have another spot to get shiners, do it. If you are coming the night before, get your shiners on the way down on Friday. You can plug your boat in on Friday night at the dock and leave your well running.
John, make sure you bring the scales from your truck to the island. We can drop them off there before you launch.
We will weigh 5 fish per boat, obeying all local lake rules. The slot limit(see Daniel's article) will be enforced. You may weigh Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Spotted Bass.
Guys, if we treat this place with respect, there is a chance that Buck can let us have a bigger tourney there with the possibility of free lodging and boat slips. This will only happen if he can trust us all do be courteous like I know you all areThis place is a boy's camp and I would like for the BBC to find a way to raise money through a sponsored tourney at the island.
if I missed anything, let me have it.
