    Mini-Rally Details

    Rally info:

The ramp is down to one lane at the bottom and it is a little bumpy because of low water. No problem to put boats in, but I am thinking that when we come in it could become silly.

We will have everyone meet at the Trooper Island Dock no later than 7:30. I will be there at 7am so come early if you like.

I will begin having you guys sign your waivers so to make it go quickly, please have your info readily available when you arrive.

If you are staying the night before, let's try to get yours out of the way then.

Everyone will need to donate $5 to the plaque fund which will pay for the plaques.

We will do an optional $10 per boat Big Bass Pot. I will collect that when I have you guys sign the waivers.

Get your shiners before hand at Stranges on 61 before the right turn to go toward the state park. We will make sure he has enough for everyone. If some of you have another spot to get shiners, do it. If you are coming the night before, get your shiners on the way down on Friday. You can plug your boat in on Friday night at the dock and leave your well running.

John, make sure you bring the scales from your truck to the island. We can drop them off there before you launch.

We will weigh 5 fish per boat, obeying all local lake rules. The slot limit(see Daniel's article) will be enforced. You may weigh Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Spotted Bass.

Guys, if we treat this place with respect, there is a chance that Buck can let us have a bigger tourney there with the possibility of free lodging and boat slips. This will only happen if he can trust us all do be courteous like I know you all are This place is a boy's camp and I would like for the BBC to find a way to raise money through a sponsored tourney at the island.

if I missed anything, let me have it.

    Re: Mini-Rally Details (Daniel)

We will do a five fish limit. That means each team can weigh 2 SM under 16 and 2 over 21. I am gonna put a size limit of 12 inches on spots, but you can bring in 5 spots if you want 12 or better. LM will be 15 or better.

Everything sounds good to me. The only question I have right now is what time are we going by CST or EST

    Re: Mini-Rally Details (EdDavisKY)

Is anybody still without a partner? I am considering attending but have never done any cold weather fishing, so have no idea how to go about catching fish.. I even have a hard time catching anything during regular season. Kinda late I know but being out of contact for almost a full mo. did not help.
Mike all I can find as far as cost goes is $15, (10 big fish & 5 for plaqe) no entry fee?

    Re: Mini-Rally Details (EdDavisKY)

Ed, We're doing plaqes this time for T winners so no entry fees except for help with the plaqes and big fish pot. Check with (Nate D) I think he is looking for a ride and I think there was someone else.
    Hope to see ya there.

    Re: Mini-Rally Details (blazenmusky)

Like AJ said Ed, it will really only cost $5. The big fish pot is optional. Also, you may use live bait. NateD does need a partner but he works alot so you may have to IM him or make a special post for him. I have had plaques made and they came out really nice.

Ed as far as the fishing goes I'm sure some of these guys that have been fishing more recently will help you out. I haven't been down in quite a while and am not real sure what I'm going to do but certainly can point you in the right direction.

IM me or email me if you want what I got to give.

Ya'all have fun and be safe. And looks like we are getting our first measurable snow fall Thursday so watch the ramps as well

Hey Ed I'll try to clear a path through the white stuff for ya on my way down.

Be safe and take care. Catch up to ya at the next one. Maybe you can show me if that Triton hooks as bad as those Skeeters .
