Just got off Boggs, Rained and lighting like hell up here. Took grandson two days ago and could only fish for about 1 hr. He has never bass fished before. Put rats nest in 6 of my rods. Gave him one of my good outfits and he catches a 5lb bass.
He had to call his dad. Man you should have seen his face. Then I caught one that weighed 5-15.
Today they were hitting about as good as Ive seen them for awhile. Had 20-25 in the 21/2-3lb range and had 15 that would go 31/2 -41/2. They hit all the way up to the storm. They were so fat I swear they looked like they had eggs in them.
Didnt do to hot in the Stratos tourney. Caught a lot of fish but no big ones about all the fish were out on 12' ledges. GPS some really good spots. Talked to a guy down there and they had 2 over 7 and 3 over 5. Said it was one of the best days him and his dad have had on Barkley. You been fishing any?
