    Optimax question

Just wondering how often I should inspect the strainer in the cooling line going to the compressor on my 2005 Opti. Was looking at the manual and saw it. I don't think it's ever been checked. Do you have to remove the lower engine cowlings? Thanks

Do with annual servicing. If never done, would be smart to do now. Easy. You'll want to remove the lower cowling.

    Re: Optimax question (Heff)

If your motors out of warranty you can install this between that tube and compressor ,down here we have a lot of mud and grass and you can clean it out on the water if you need to but you have to cut that screen of the plastic insert at the block ,been havining one on mine for years and can be a great help if you get in grass and mud
