    Trailer Bunks

I'm getting ready to replace my trailer bunks, is it a good idea to taper the bunks where the boat enters (back of bunks)?

I see no reason to. They are in the water below the boat.

When I did mine it was mostly due to the carpet being rubbed thru on the back and inside of the bunks so I just tapered them there just a little.
