    Boat Buddy

I am thinking about getting a Boat Buddy, the device that automaticlly hooks your bow eye when you drive on the trailer. Has anyone used this?

I have one on my boat, I LOVE IT. Drive up here a click and wave to wife to pull me out. Works great and comes in handy when the wife slips the clutch on my truck. I am sure she would have parked me on the ramp a few times by now.

    Re: Boat Buddy (Durby)

I had one and loved it, right up until it broke. If you hit it a bit crooked, sometimes the pin will get bent. A rubber mallet usually took care of that easy enough though. Also, if you hit the trailer a tad to hard, the pin can sometimes fire prematurely. Like I said, when it worked, it was a great idea.
